Wrangler joined our family in July. She is a desert tortoise. She is a vegetarian and can't swim. She has a bin we put her in at night so we can find her in the morning. She goes out in the backyard with us and eats in the morning and afternoon, if we can find her. Since the weather has cooled off she is really sluggish, so sometimes she doesn't come very quickly when we call her. She likes to climb and we will often find her asleep standing on her back legs.
She likes to munch on the leaves of the green bell pepper plant in the garden.
When we travel in the car, she likes to ride on our lap on her tortoise towel, which just gives her traction to feel more secure. This was taken when we were going camping. Wrangler was sound asleep so S balanced her In N Out Box on Wranglers shell.
This was her favorite corner to sleep in for awhile. Now that it is cooler she likes the yoga mat by the sunny window.
This is just a picture I took of my Handsome husband while I was taking pictures of Wrangler. We were camping and I was laying in the grass taking the pictures of her at the top of the post, and I looked over and he was just sitting there watching us.
Right after that picture, I was able to get this captivating video of Wrangler eating. Go get the popcorn!
