Swine Time

After almost 6 months of work, it is finally time to show what has been learned, either good or bad.

Tyler did great today with Jenga. He placed 4th in his class which is a blue ribbon. The judge said Jenga was the best animal for "harvest" but "the trend of the industry is towards a heavier animal". So if anyone out there is wanting some really lean pork, Tyler would happily hook you up.

Check out those hams!

Christopher was very happy to see the camera.
He and Sizzlez put on a great show too. Sizzlez was a little fiesty (she bit me Monday) and was trying to get in the snouts of some of the other pigs. Christopher did a good job keeping his cool and keeping her moving. He also placed 4th and the judge said Sizzlez looked as good as she could because if she had weighed more she would have lost muscle.

Sydney was practicing for Pee Wee Showmanship which is tomorrow.

I wish them all luck!!!
