Today was swine showmanship. This was to see who knew how to showcase their pig. It is sort of like the Miss America Beauty Pageant, everybody wants to look their best, and there is lots of hairbrushing involved. The kids are supposed to keep the pigs moving in front of the judge in such a way that the judge doesn't really notice the owner, only the pig.
Christopher and Tyler both did great, especially since it was their first time.
The judge had good comments and explained what would help each owner next time, number
one was "walk your pig at least 30-60 minutes EVERY DAY".
Sydney did Pee Wee Showmanship. She did a really good job and stayed right by Jenga and kept her moving most of the time.
She brought home a much anticipated gold medal, made in the USA and it has the phone number embossed to order more, if anyone is interested!
