Merry Week Before Christmas

After the "spider horns" from Halloween, the teacher decided she needed a little hairtertainment in class. Daughter and I shopped until we found these darling Christmas tree horns, and some jingle bell earrings. She had a jingle bell necklace but broke it in like 2 minutes. The earrings were enough. We also found some reindeer horns, but since she is not wearing these right on top of her head, they don't look as horn-like as the spiders did. She had fun with them, and that is all that mattered.

These sweet little girls brought me the cute ornaments with their hand and footprints. I had to take their picture to save just in case they ever grow up, or move. I don't want them move, so I am not praying for their house to sell.

Santa called last week. It was quite a surprise to get a call from the North Pole. Nobody was more surprised then EP. She told him about the Ariel she wanted, then added a pink airsoft gun to the list.

We did have a surprise and 12 hours of beautiful rain to end the week. It had just started when I took this photo. These duck boots have been waiting for rain since last March. I was so happy they got some use before they got outgrown. They have even been to church "just in case". We had plenty of puddles to splash in, but 2 days later, you would never know it.
