While the boys worked and played, the three of us headed south to Mt. Lemmon to play in more snow on New Years Eve.
This hill we used in February was pretty busy this time, so we hiked over a bridge and found the perfect hill with nobody around.
It was really fast....Sydney refused to sit in front because she didn't want to watch.
She didn't enjoy the speed so she took to hitting snowballs with a tree limb.
This is the Cookie Cabin. They make the best pizza. It truly is good pizza. We drove up there one day when pizza sounded good so it wasn't like we were cold and starving to death when we ate and the pizza was still the best. Definately a plus after sledding :)
Oh yeah, they have cookies too, the cookies fill the 8" paper plate. Chocolate chip warm out of the oven is being enjoyed here. For the chocolate haters there are lots of other choices, this trip mine was pumpkin nut.
We got a nice table right by the fireplace, very warm and cozy.
For dessert we walked to the Fudge Shop, which has like 20 kinds of fudge, and as luck would have it, they aren't all chocolate!
We selected Vanilla walnut, I think maple pecan, raspberry chocolate and pistachio. Very yummy.
Definately worth the drive, even if there isn't snow!!!
