Well, I am still trying to be a better poster

A friend pointed out to me today that it really has been awhile since I posted. January to August , I have been busy I guess. I will really really try to get better. Here are a few pictures from January. My sweetie and I went to Los Angeles to get my name changed on my passport. That was the quite the experience. Had it still been January, I might have gone into detail about the whole passport experience, but it is August. I had to wait like a zillion hours, well, maybe 7 to go back to pick the passport up. Not wanting to go too far from the passport building or wanting to spend tons of money, we went to the beach. My sweetie had never been to the beach, you know the kind of "been to the beach" where you actually stop the car, park and WALK to the beach, and take your shoes off and feel the squishy sand between your toes and play in the cold water.

After a couple hours we had hamburgers at this little beach shack at Santa Monica Pier.

This is the stairway up to the pier. Underneath was an aquarium, but it is closed on weekdays unless you were on a field trip. There was a school going in, but they all had on uniforms so I thought if we tried to sneak in, we might stick out a little bit.
