While I was at a wedding reception, I got to remeet my second grade teacher Ms. Guymon! I told her all the things I remembered about second grade, she and her sister in law were laughing. They said she taught half of that town second grade. I still have my ice cream bar necklace I got for reading 25 books and turning in 25 book reports with them. She engraved my name on the little stick. The big choice was the ice cream bar necklace, or the giant toothbrush that was about 12 inches long.
She seemed alot taller in second grade....I wonder why?
