This had nothing to do with NSD, but it was cute.
Our hometown grocer had a sale on the best bacon for .99/lb. We had BLT's for dinner and someone made a face with their tomato pieces. She didn't mind posing.
For reasons that escape me, someone decided their baby needed long hair. She was very quiet in the other room while she carefully pressed silly putty to the baby's head. It was green, and she made it look long down the sides. In the meantime, she knocked my herma tabs off the table, and the dispenser opened when it hit the floor. I had to remove the used tape and reload it. She took the tape, cut it into strips, and pressed it into the silly putty for "curls". Can you get an "A" for creativity and substitute it for a reading grade?
