Happiness is Laundry....

So maybe happiness isn't always laundry, but I am so thankful I live in a day when we have machines at home to clean our clothes and linens for us. I am especially grateful for these inventions in the middle of the night when a child throws up in my bed. Yes, it would be a teeny bit better if I could push a button and have Rosie (from the Jetsons) show up to do her magic and remake the bed in the blink of an eye. But really, what did Laura Ingalls do? They never showed us those day to day events on Little House on the Prairie. Can you imagine pulling off sheets and having to scrub them with a washboard in the cold of winter? No hot water? (well, unless you heat it over the fire) Outside so you don't turn the kitchen floor to mud? I am SO thankful I live now!
I was happy to move into this house and have my laundry room upstairs where 98% of the laundry is located. I wanted to decorate, but how do you decorate a laundry room? I couldn't even pick a color of paint for in there.

If "off white" is a color, then I guess other than the hamper, the machines were the accent for the room.
How about yellow? I love yellow! I wanted to use it in many rooms of my home. I thought I picked out a nice "dirt" colored carpet. Turns out with yellow paint, the carpet looks red. Even my cabinets look better with the yellow. It is such a nice contrast....
How about red for an accent color? I love these! First of all, they are red, my favorite color, and they clean great! I have done 5 loads of laundry today.
I watched the first load. I did the terrorists clothes and her socks came out WHITE! I was amazed. I have stinky boy clothes in now. I have high hopes for them as well! If you are shopping for some accent pieces for your laundry room, I would highly recommend these!

These are awesome! Your room looks really good, love the color yellow you chose. What brand washer and dryer did you get?

I LOVE the new RED machines, the paint...everything! So pretty!
I thought you were a consultant for LP, but your link shows TLC. When did you change and why?
