Finally after being this old in my whole long life I have seen the Grand Canyon!
It is so beautiful and amazing! The pictures I have seen just don't even compare.
If you haven't been there, there are lots of places without a guard rail. I didn't know that. When the Brady Bunch went, they were all safe by the railing. Some in the family like to go right up to the edge.....
Some like to stay back with a little extra room.... just in case. We had been camping for 2 days, usually Sassy Molassy doesn't look like Little Orphan Annie.
Guess what the most dangerous animal is at the Grand Canyon?
The dreaded squirrel. The ranger said that some people sit and try to get the squirrels to come up to them by offering them food. The squirrels will take the food if you offer, sometimes even if you don't. They will also take chunks out of your finger. Thankfully nobody in our family would sit and try to catch the scary squirrels by offering food.

not only that but they will spit right in your face..... maybe it's cause we weren't giving them enough food.
